Meet the wine
It's 100% Sauvignon Blanc — with bubbles. This quaffable summer beverage is so light, so refreshing, that it almost transcends the genre of wine. As Chris says, "Es crushablé." It's flavorful yet bone-dry, with 0g of residual sugar and some serious street cred: it recently picked up a Gold Medal win and a 90 point score from the Sunset Mag Int'l Wine Competition. The colors on the can were inspired by the lemon-lime, passionfruit flavors of this wine — crack a can whenver you'd pop a bottle.
Meet the maker
Chris Christensen is a proud 4th generation Cedar Rapidian who went coastal for college, and stayed out west to become a self-taught, envelope-pushing vintner. He burst onto the wine scene in 2011 with Bodkin wines, where he’s known for being the first American to make a sparkling Sauvignon Blanc— and now it’s in a can. He was recently dubbed the “Bubbles Innovator” on Wine Enthusiast’s 40 under 40 Tastemaker list.
