Meet the wine
Paso Robles may be best known for Zinfandel, but it’s also home to some seriously expressive Italian varietals. This vibrant red blend—featuring Sangiovese, Barbera, and Cabernet Sauvignon—was grown in dry, hilly terrain that delivers bold yet balanced fruit.
It’s full-bodied and layered, with juicy red fruit, subtle tannins, and a soft, flowy finish that reflects the warmth and character of the region.
Crafted with native yeasts and zero additives, this wine was aged for 16 months in a mix of French and American oak (just 10% new), allowing the pure essence of Paso fruit to shine. The result? A dry, polished red with structure, spice, and soul.

Meet the maker
Janell Dusi grew up among the vines—now, she’s crafting world class wines of her own. A fourth-generation Zinfandel farmer, her great-grandparents immigrated to Paso Robles from Italy in the 1920s and planted the first Dusi vineyards. After a childhood working the land, harvesting the grapes, and learning all about organic farming from her grandpa, Janell became the first to make wine from her family’s iconic fruit.
